Here is info on often asked questions. Feel free to text if you have more:
FOOD:
I will bring food for about a week. I’ll also give you two suggestions: one for an online food option and another from a store. It’s up to you what you choose to feed your dog, and I’m here to offer advice. If you choose the online food, our guarantee will be extended to two years (instead of just one). I’ll also explain how much food to give. Click here to go to Care 4 Goldens page for food options and order in advance.
SUPPLEMENTS:
One of the essentials that I'd like each of my puppy parents to continue using is NuVet Plus supplements. This daily treat offers key nutrients for immune and digestive support while your puppy transitions to a new home, and it will continue to offer total body support through each stage of life. Below is a link to a quick educational video to explain more. Please watch the video and place your order for NuVet before pick up. Make sure you use the code 55216 for a discount. Also, click here to go to Care 4 Goldens page for more info on supplements. Thank you!

POTTY TRAINING:
The puppies are trained before they go home with you. If you follow my instructions, the transition will be easy, and by the second day, your puppy should be doing great. About 95% of our puppies adapt quickly, and by day two, they perform perfectly. If you have other pets in the house, things might take a bit longer, but I have several helpful tricks that have worked well for us.
LEASH:
Feel free to choose any leash you like, but I recommend getting one from your vet, as puppies tend to like those the most. I’ll demonstrate the best way to walk your puppy so you can see quick results.
VET:
MOST IMPORTANT: Schedule a vet visit as soon as possible, preferably for Monday. We’ve checked all the puppies, and they are in perfect health, but I want your vet to confirm it too. Some vets can be busy, so don’t wait too long! Your puppy will come dewormed and vaccinated, but you’ll need to do the booster for week 9 with your vet.
CRATE:
For home use, you can choose the size that fits best for you, but I recommend getting a larger crate since they grow quickly. I personally like the foldable, black metal crates with two doors and a removable plastic tray. You can add a pillow, but I suggest covering half the bottom with a towel (which may get messy and is easy to wash). Get two plates—one for food and one for water. For the car ride on pick-up day, you can use a crate if you want, but most puppies will likely stay in your lap, so it’s entirely up to you if you want to purchase one.
TREATS:
We don’t give treats to our dogs, primarily because they don’t enjoy them and because treats can disrupt their eating cycle. Too many treats can lead to weight gain, which can be harmful to their hips. You can give treats if you like, but be cautious. Using regular food (carrots, meat, or hot dogs, etc.) is fine.
TOYS:
Avoid hard plastic or rubber toys that could damage the puppy’s teeth. Toys should be soft and flexible enough for them to carry easily without hurting their teeth. If you need toy recommendations, feel free to ask, and I can send a picture of the best types.
CHIP:
All puppies come microchipped.
PAYMENT:
Please use PayPal or Zelle for the balance due. Cash is also accepted, but no checks, please

- Groom, train, and care for your Golden consistently. Never leave your Golden chained or tied up.
- Refrain from breeding the dog before 18 months of age.

- Spaying/neutering is strongly recommended if the puppy is purchased as a pet.
- The puppy is not to be purchased for resale. Rehoming is allowed only with written permission from Hillsong Goldens.
- If you cannot provide care, return the dog to Hillsong Goldens. The puppy must never be surrendered to a rescue or shelter without the breeder’s permission.
- The value of the dog for this agreement is limited to the purchase price. Additional expenses, such as travel, veterinary care, or show fees, are not included.
- This agreement is governed by Texas law and deemed to have been executed in Williamson County, TX. Any legal disputes must be handled in Williamson County, and the buyer assumes all associated costs.
